Alpine Garden and Hearth (AGH) manages a high tunnel greenhouse at its 10 Mile Richardson Highway location focused on the production of raspberries and cut flowers. The company is licensed by the State of Alaska and City of Valdez.
The company is concentrating on business venues that make living in rural Alaska more enjoyable. To this end, they trade in pellet burning stoves from Harman and Wiseway, market wood fuel pellets, provide factory approved service for Harman stove products, sell remote home water supply systems and offer the retail sales of produce when it is in season.
Ruth and Alan are longtime residents of the City of Valdez, in spectacular Prince William Sound and previously lived on Wrangell Island for many years. Along with AGH, the couple operate the Information About Alaska online magazine and market proven outdoor equipment through their alaskagear.biz site.
