The Alaska Army Guard supports wildfire suppression efforts in the vicinity of the Susitna River and Wantana Creek. Using a UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter, the Guard provided transportation and material support for the Forest Service’s Lassen 21 member Interagency Hotshot Crew out of Susanville, California.
